"A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, but the sinner's wealth is laid up for the righteous."
Proverbs 13:22
While good men's estates remain with their families, the wealth of the wicked does not. In the providence of God, it will ultimately belong to the righteous.
As we make choices with our money today, our goals, visions, and legacies are paramount. As we weigh what we want now against what we really want later, we realize how temporary satisfaction pales in comparison to a legacy of purpose and general fulfillment.
Inheritances are not limited to money and property. Character qualities like integrity and trustworthiness are also included. When you combine a financial inheritance with wisdom and godliness, your family and the generations that follow will manage God's blessings for God's glory long after you're gone.
